Forest Guard Mock Test – 50 MCQ Online Quiz (My Preparation Experience)
So, I recently started preparing for Forest Guard exams, and at first I thought it will be mostly about environment and general knowledge… like basic stuff. But when I actually tried a mock test, I realized — questions are simple, but options confuse a lot 😅
That’s when I understood one important thing:
Without mock test practice, it’s very hard to score good marks.
So here I’m sharing how I prepare using 50 MCQ mock tests. Just like I would explain to my friend.
Why Forest Guard Mock Tests Matter
When I first started, I was only reading notes — environment, GK, reasoning. I felt confident.
But in mock test:
- Time pressure came
- I got confused between similar options
- Made silly mistakes
Then I realized:
Reading is passive, but mock test is real practice.
My Daily Mock Test Routine
I keep it very simple. No overloading.
- 1 mock test daily (50 MCQs)
- Mixed subjects
- Check answers immediately
My small trick:
After test, I mark:
- ✔ Correct
- ✖ Wrong
Then I only revise wrong ones.
This saves time and improves weak areas.

How I Handle Time
Earlier, I used to get stuck on difficult questions.
Now I follow one simple rule:
- Easy → first
- Medium → second
- Difficult → skip for later
My personal rule:
Don’t waste time on one question.
Because one question can cost 2–3 others.
Mistakes I Made (Learn from This)
1. Rushing too fast
I made silly mistakes.
2. Not reading question properly
Missed words like “not” or “incorrect”
3. No revision
Same mistakes repeated again.
One Small Insight
After practicing daily, I noticed my speed improved automatically.
At first:
- 50 questions → 1 hour
Now:
- Same questions → less time + better accuracy
So practice really works.
One Relatable Example
Sometimes I see a question and feel: “I have seen this before…”
But still choose wrong option due to confusion.
So now I pause for 2 seconds and think again.
It helps.
My Personal Study Tips
1. Practice daily
Even 50 questions is enough.
2. Focus on weak areas
Don’t ignore them.
3. Revise regularly
Very important.
4. Stay calm
Don’t panic in test.
Final Thoughts
Forest Guard exam is not very difficult.
But competition is high.
So small mistakes matter a lot.
Just remember:
- Practice mock tests
- Learn from mistakes
- Improve step by step
Even 1–2 hours daily is enough if you stay consistent.
